Our Mission Context

We have dedicated, faithful members, and our congregation rallies around specific needs within the church and beyond (e.g. mission projects).

Our day care, Penfield Presbyterian Day Care Center, is highly regarded in the community.

We have a unique physical structure and location and land for additional uses. Our facility is used extensively by community groups free of charge.

We provide opportunities for social interaction and recreation; and recognize that additional opportunities exist to connect with each other and the community.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

As part of the body of Christ, Penfield Presbyterian Church helps to meet spiritual needs, and offers opportunities for: learning God's word, meaningful fellowship, and serving others in Christ's name.

We encourage each individual's life-long faith journey through worship, prayer, and Christian Education. We learn about faith development for all ages.

We support vital member-led activities that encourage friendship and/or service to others.

We increase our awareness and understanding of individual and community needs; we support dynamic initiatives that respond to those needs.

We embrace and nurture the grace-given gifts of all and practice good stewardship of time and energy.
