Penfield Presbyterian is committed to providing meaningful faith development opportunities for all ages. Our Faith Development offerings are coordinated by Jan Kennedy (PPC's Faith Development Leader) and include:
- Nursery Care provided for our youngest friends by Linda Lange and her helper crew
- Age Appropriate classes for children and youth meet after the first part of worship each week (except for the first Sunday of the month when our older kids participate in intergenerational worship).
- Confirmation Retreats for Youth in at least 7th grade. PPC youth interested in becoming a confirmed member join with other like-minded youth from across the Presbytery for once a month evening retreats. Each confirmand is assigned a PPC member as their faith partner.
- Presbytery-wide youth worship, ministry and events
- Adult Class, "Faith and Reasoning" meets Sunday Mornings at 8:45 in room 4. This class is lead by Rob Phipps.
Join us for "Atonement 101" after worship all four Sunday's in March 2012. This class will explore the many understandings of the atonement that have arisen since the formation of the early church in the first century. Pastor Sue Thaine and Faith Developement Leader Jan Kennedy will co-faciliate this class. All are welcome to join for one week or for all four weeks. We will meet in room four at 11:20.
Other Adult Faith Development Options Include:
