Serving Others
Outreach & Mission
Sharing God’s love through service is evident in our giving of our time and talent as well sharing of funds. Individual church members are committed to a wide range of outreach or advocacy organizations. As a congregation we participate in hands-on mission activities organized by each Seasonal Team. Food insecurity is a reality for many; thus, we maintain a well-stocked Little Free Pantry in the front of the church and we sustain an ongoing collection for the Penfield Ecumenical Food Shelf throughout the year. Our Deacons provide compassionate care and support to members and friends of the congregation. PPC continues to commit at least 10% of our pledged giving for mission and the congregation is generous during special collections of funds and goods.
